New Delhi: Students are often motivated when they hear about peers securing record-breaking packages from good organizations. However, it is a common notion that record-breaking packages are typically secured by students from IITs or IIMs. Well, this article features the success story of a student from NIT Warangal who secured a Rs 88 lakh job offer.
Aditya Singh, a final-year M.Tech student, secured a record-breaking package that helped NIT Warangal surpass the Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Hyderabad, in terms of the highest-paying job offers for students. Remarkably, this marks the first time NIT Warangal has outperformed IIT Hyderabad.
Singh was hired for an annual package worth Rs 88 lakh by Microsoft. However, as per a report by the Times of India (2022), the highest package offered to M.Tech students from IIT Hyderabad was Rs 63.8 lakh per year.
Aditya’s journey to success was not a smooth one. According to the media reports, Aditya scored only 75% in the Class 10th examination. Realizing the need for change after his Class 10 results, he focused intensely on his studies and achieved an impressive 96% in the Class 12 board examinations. Later, he took admission to NIT Warangal, where he pursued an M.Tech in Computer Science
