Stellar spire in the Eagle Nebula: Appearing like a winged fairy-tale creature poised on a pedestal, this object is actually a billowing tower of cold gas and dust rising from a stellar nursery called the Eagle Nebula.
A hazy Nebula: This new image from Hubble’s Wide Field Planetary Camera 2 showcases NGC 1501, a complex planetary nebula located in the large but faint constellation of Camelopardalis (The Giraffe).
Blushing dusty Nebula: This close-up of an area in the northwest region of the large Iris Nebula seems to be clogged with cosmic dust.
The Lagoon Nebula: To celebrate its 28th anniversary in space the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope took this amazing and colourful image of the Lagoon Nebula.
