Kriti Sanon once started crying in vanity due to..., she said ‘there is no… left now’

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon recently shared how hectic schedules and constant film promotions can affect an actor’s mental health. Speaking in Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, Kriti revealed she almost had a breakdown during the promotional campaign for her film Bhediya. “Promotions can be very exhausting,” she explained. The actress mentioned that in the same year, she had two or three movie releases, so promoting Bhediya felt particularly overwhelming. Kriti and co-star Varun Dhawan traveled to multiple cities, often on late-night flights, repeating interviews and schedules daily. Reflecting on the monotony, she joked, “I wished I could record my answers and just play them. By the end, Varun and I knew each other’s answers by heart!”

Kriti shared a vulnerable moment when she broke down while preparing for a reality show appearance on the final day of the Bhediya promotions. “I was in my vanity van and suddenly started crying. I told everyone, ‘I’m tired, I can’t do this anymore.’ It was emotionally draining, and everyone around me was shocked,” she said, adding that such situations deeply impact mental health.

While Kriti loves acting, she admitted that the additional pressures in the film industry can feel overwhelming. To cope, she sometimes rebels against expectations. Sharing an amusing anecdote, Kriti recalled refusing to attend a photoshoot, despite warnings from her stylist that she’d have to buy the outfit. “I bought it, only to regret spending the money later,” Kriti laughed.

Kriti Sanon was last seen in Do Patti, released on Netflix. In the film, she played dual roles and also turned producer for the first time. Written by Kanika Dhillon, Do Patti reunited Kriti with Kajol, her co-star from the 2015 movie Dilwale.
