The Maharashtra deadlock has come to an end as Eknath Shinde finally agreed to power-sharing formula shared by the BJP.

Mumbai: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has finally cracked the Maharashtra code, with caretaker Chief Minister Eknath Shinde agreeing to the saffron party’s power-sharing formula. As per the arrangement, the BJP will take the Chief Minister’s post and will have two Deputy Chief Ministers in the state. Veteran politician Devendra Fadnavis is expected to become the next Chief Minister, but the final decision will be made at the BJP legislative party meeting on Wednesday morning.
