Maharashtra: The Hotel Dwarkamai in the Ganeshpath colony area of Nagpur received a bomb threat email on Monday. The bomb squad and police are currently at the spot to investigate the case and to evacuate the inmates. According to the reports, the Fire brigades have also been dispatched to the area. The police officials have cordoned off the area and evacuated the inmates from the hotel to conduct further investigations.
“A bomb threat was recieved at Hotel Dwarkamai in the Ganeshpeth Colony area of Nagpur. Police immediately reached at the spot and we executed all the inmates. A detailed search has been conducted by the Bomb Detection team”, said Nagpur Police DCP, Rahul Maknikar.

According to the news reports, around 40 schools in Delhi have received bomb threats via e-mail on Monday, including GD Goenka School in Paschim Vihar, DPS RK Puram, British School along with other schools. The sender of the mail demanded 30,000 dollars, warning that the bomb would be detonate if the money was not given on time. The News 18 reported that the IP address of the sender was traced to Utica in New York. A proxy server was used to send the threat mail.
