Bengaluru Power Cut: Selected areas in Bengaluru city are going to face power outages on Wednesday, October 23. The electricity disruptions in these areas will occur due to emergency maintenance work at the 66/11 kV Vidya Substation. The power cuts are expected to last for seven hours. However, the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL), which manages the 66/11 kV Vidya Substation, has assured that electricity will be restored in the affected areas as soon as the maintenance work is completed.
The power interruptions will affect several areas from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the evening.
Vikas Nagar, 8th Mile Road, Shobha Apartments, Ramaiah Layout.
Vijayalakshmi Layout, Manjunath Nagar, Narayana Layout, Havanur Barangay, Ashok Nagar, Defense Colony, Vidya Bus Stop, Soap Factory Layout, Munikondappa Layout, Kataraya Nagar, Sasuveghatta, BTS Layout, Vidya School, Siddeshwar Layout, Vidya Nagar, Kuvempu Nagar, Mahalakshmi Nagar, Reliance Fresh, Parts of Soladevanahalli, Andanappa Layout, Tarabanahalli Main Road
Havanur Barangay, Royal Enclave, Sidedahalli, Shesmarghatta Main Road, Partially in Vishvesharayya Layout, Bairaveshwar Circle and nearby regions
People are requested to arrange their schedules in a manner that minimises upheaval during the upcoming maintenance work.
