India's Last Railway Station

India has the fourth-largest rail network in the world.

More than 13,000 trains run in the country every day, of which more than 2.5 crore passengers travel.

Singhabad station is located in West Bengal, near the Bangladesh border.

It was historically important, connecting Kolkata and Dhaka.

According to media reports, it was used by leaders like Subhash Chandra Bose and Mahatma Gandhi.

The station is now mostly deserted, with outdated equipment and closed ticket counters.

After Bangladesh's independence in 1971, Singhabad became crucial for freight trains for trade between India and Nepal.
