Israel hits back at Houthis, deploys full army against rebel forces in Yemen, over 100 fighter jets launch…

The Israeli army has launched a massive assault on the Houthis in the Red Sea. The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) on Thursday confirmed that they had attacked several Houthi rebel hideouts in Yemen, including Sana’a International Airport and three ports on the western coast. According to Israeli officials, the air force carried out its largest attack on Yemen to date. The airport’s control tower was rendered inactive, and commercial planes used by the Houthi administration were also damaged. Yemeni media reported that two people were killed in the attack.

According to a report from YT News, an Israeli source said, “We said the Houthis would pay a heavy price, and they will see our strength.” The source added that this attack would not be the last.

Netanyahu Threatens the Houthis

In his talks from Wednesday, he hinted at a foreboding fate awaiting the Houthis – one that resonated ominously with the destinies of Hamas, Hezbollah, the regime of Assad, and others.

Israel’s Defence Minister Katz said, “Anyone who harms Israel will be pursued. No Houthi leader will escape Israel’s reach.”

Israel Boosts Security

Lebanese outlet Al Mayadeen, linked to Hezbollah, accused that American warships were also involved during the Israeli attacks. In response to potential Houthi retaliation, Israel has raised the level of its air defence. Several reports indicate that during the attacks, WHO’s Director-General and the United Nations Coordinator in Sanaa were present at the airport.
