At least 15 policemen were injured, two seriously, in an explosion at a police station in Swabi district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, on the evening of September 26. While one officer reported 15 injuries, another suggested the number could reach 30. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. This incident follows a troubling trend in the region, which has seen increased violence linked to Islamic militancy, including a deadly incident in April 2023 that left 17 dead in the Swat district.
