In another video showing Salman Khan leaving Baba Siddique’s residence, the actor appeared emotional and teary-eyed as he made his way through the large crowd gathered outside. The scene was filled with chaos, with fans and onlookers surrounding him as he departed after paying his respects to the late NCP leader.
Earlier in the day, members of the Khan family, including Iulia Vantur, rumoured to be Salman’s girlfriend, Sohail Khan, Seema Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma, and Alvira Agnihotri, were spotted arriving at Baba Siddique’s home in Mumbai to pay their final tributes.
Following the news of Baba Siddique’s assassination reports claim that Salman Khan halted the shoot of Bigg Boss 18 and rushed to the hospital to meet the late politician’s family. Baba Siddique was known for hosting massive Iftar parties in Mumbai, and he shared a close bond with Salman.
It is worth noting that it was Baba Siddique who ended the feud between Salman and Shah Rukh Khan during one of his Iftar parties in 2013.
The Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for Siddique’s death in a Facebook post earlier today, leading to increased security outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments. Following the incident, the actor cancelled all scheduled meetings and requested privacy, asking his industry friends to refrain from visiting him in the coming days.
Baba Siddique was laid to rest on October 13, 2024, with state honours.
